ABOUT Eliza

Eliza Hope is an Indie Folk singer-songwriter from Hampshire known for her confessional lyricism, poetic imagery and raw emotion. She is inspired by the storytelling of Joni Mitchell, the traditional folk tones and tales of Kate Rusby and the vulnerability of Adrienne Lenker.

Eliza’s songs echo the timeless quality of classic folk whilst embracing contemporary themes, allowing her to connect with listeners across generations. Delivered with a voice both powerful and pure, her lyrics express what often goes unsaid; exploring the intimate spaces between memory and motion, pain and personal growth. As well as arranging music for other artists, she writes her own instrumental parts and sophisticated vocal harmonies.

Eliza marked the beginning of her artistic journey aged 16 by releasing her debut singles Limbo and Motionless Emotions in 2023. She has continued to refine her craft, releasing her debut EP Space In Between on 30 April 2025. She has performed at renowned venues across the UK, including the Royal Albert Hall, St Martin-in-the-Fields, Half Moon Putney, Hootenanny Brixton, Bread and Roses and many more. Her live performances are characterised by authenticity, warmth and an ability to captivate an audience with quiet intensity.

“I have always had a passion for music and performance and it has given me so much confidence throughout my life. I even got the opportunity to combine these passions when performing in School of Rock in the West End when I was 10. Writing music makes makes me feel like myself and is my favourite way to creatively outlet my emotions and process how I’m feeling.

Drawing inspiration from many incredible female artists, I hope that through my own music I’ll be able to connect and inspire others”

  • I struggle with productivity; a sea of possibilities. Some bottled up emotion that I just can’t set in motion…”
